The Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship 2025 is a initiative by the Government of West Bengal. Academic Criteria

Minimum Marks Requirement
- For getting funds to the Higher Secondary Level candidate must have scored at least 60% in the 10th grade or its equivalent.
- For getting funds in Diploma Programs Applicants must have scored at least 60% in the Secondary (Madhyamik) Examination or its equivalent.
- For getting Undergraduate scholarship Candidates must have passed(12th grade) with at least 60% of the possible points, or its equivalent.
- For Postgraduate scholarship candidates must have graduated with at least 53% of the possible points in honors degree. It is necessary to receive at least 55% in engineering courses.
- For Ph.D. Scholarship Programs: Eligible research scholars are full-time students enrolled in Ph.D. or at state-aided universities.
