NSP Portal or NSP OTR APP Login 2025-26
Here are step by step guideline how can you login your NSP portal
- Visit the Official NSP Website:
Go to scholarships.gov.in.
- Initiate OTR:
Click on the “One-Time Registration “link.
- Register:
Enter your mobile number.
- Aadhaar Verification:
Enter your Aadhaar number You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number for verification.
- Complete Registration:
Enter your personal details such as your name, parents’ names, and email ID.
- Face Authentication:
Download the NSP OTR App from the Google Play Store to complete face authentication.
- Login:
After successful registration and authentication, log in to your NSP account using your Application ID and password to apply for scholarships.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete face authentication. This process uses your device’s camera and does not require any external biometric devices.

Eligibility criteria
Each scholarship on the NSP portal has their own eligibility criteria but the general criteria for the scholarship is mentioned below.
- Who Can Apply:
Students from Class 1 to PhD level.
Must be an Indian citizen.
- Academic Performance:
Should have scored at least 50% marks in the last exam (for most schemes).
- Family Income Limit (per year):
Pre-Matric (Class 1–10): income should be below ₹1 lakh
Post-Matric (Class 11 and above): Income should be below ₹2 lakh.
Merit-cum-Means (for professional/technical courses): Income should be below ₹2.5 lakh.
- Category-Based Scholarships:
Available for SC, ST, OBC, Minority communities, and students with disabilities (PwD).
Some are also for girls, meritorious students, or students from economically weaker sections (EWS).
- Other Conditions:
- You should study in a famous and well-known institute.
- You can apply only for one scholarship under NSP in a year.

Submission of National Scholarship portal
