Overview of Kalpana Fellowship

Skyroot Aerospace has proudly launched India’s first scholarship scheme for women which is named as Kalpana Fellowship a heartfelt tribute to astronaut Kalpana Chawla This one-year fellowship is designed for talented women pursuing B. Tech and M.Tech degrees. They are not offering just financial support but also give new candidate a chance to get hands-on learning experience under the expert mentorship.

The first batch of Kalpana Fellows will begin their journey in July 2025. Selected candidates will be part of a transformative experience that aims to empower the next generation of women in science and technology.

Monthly stipend 

• B.Tech final-year student will get ₹30,000
• M.Tech final-year student will get ₹35,000
• B.Tech fresh graduate will get ₹50,000
• M.Tech fresh graduate will get ₹55,000
• PhD completed candidate will get ₹80,000 as stipend
