India Acumen Fellowship : Program Details, Eligibility, and Application Process

India Acumen Fellowship capitalizes on businesspeople across the world and goes with them on the journey to develop changes. At the academy, we recognize and prepare these entrepreneurs with exceptional skills desired to develop scalable solutions to lack and the difficult skills of ethical leadership to reconsider and develop a better world.

The Indian Acumen Fellowship program is an informational program that transfers a troop of outstanding candidates with a business mindset and problem-solving brain.

We manage them with the apparatus and community to strengthen their management, measure their influence, and develop expressive alteration in India.  Throughout the course of the program, helpful cohorts take part as leaders and develop self-awareness.

 They improve their skills to become good leaders of the team, and direct values in stressful conditions. They will leave the fellowship with the capability to transfer across alterations, inspire themselves and others, challenge outdated ways of working, and redesign the people, corporation, and coordination around them.

This program provides me with the ability to make excellence from the heart, and my main companion when I am facing problems. Formally, it has permitted us to listen and change our views of our work. In my opinion, it has been great that it gives me long-term friends and a chance to be part of an outstanding community.

No, to be eligible for this opportunity, your organization must have at least two team members.

  • Yes. All sessions and training are done in English; efficiency in the language is required.

Fellowship Selection

Q: Should I have to be a social businessman to participate in this fellowship? 

No, the maximum number of our Fellows are leading social businesses; our Fellows also work at different types of organizations.
Fellows mostly fall into these three categories:

Q: Should I be required to be part of a social organization? 

Yes. The candidates we are searching for are full-time workers in organizations and motive to develop social influence and eliminate poverty.

Q: Can you share more details regarding your eligibility criteria?

This program is for those candidates who are able to solve problems of deficiency and want to develop a world self-esteem. Despite the basic eligibility criteria, we are searching for the following when choosing the individuals.

Leadership and Growth Potential

We are searching for those individuals who have the motivation to align with the work we are doing. They establish self-awareness, skills to learn from their difficulties, and continue on the path they are continuing. Through experience of life and management skills, the candidates can explain this.

Values Alignment and Readiness

This program is an academic fellowship that requires a person to ask hard questions and teach in troop settings. We are searching for such a person who brings different nationalities, values, and experiences. We expect to support fellows as they pursue work on developing influence in the world.

Individuals should be able to share knowledge base skills, and experience.

Q: Do I need to presently be involved in work dedicated to poverty?

Yes. Our fellowship is developed for those candidates who are a part of an organization whose purpose is to eliminate poverty. We select those candidates who are accessible full-time for this purpose.

Q: How many candidates are designated every year from each country? 

We select 20 individuals every year.

Q: I meet the primary needs and basic eligibility criteria, but I am in the middle of an employment change right now. How would that affect my application?

Our fellowship is designed for those people who are presently an important part of developing an organization, and can take back what they glearnedin 1st year of the fellowship.

Q: If I’m not present in India next year, can I still apply? 

Candidates require full participation in the session that will occur during the year. Some require in-person involvement, and we will support you financially only for travel to and from the city or within the country. We will motivate you to apply if you can attend all sessions, but funds for international travel are not provided.

If you are deciding to move to another country, then we encourage you to apply when you return to your country.

Q: Do I have to be a local of the area from which I am applying for this program?

Yes. We classify applications from the citizens of the country. But we can make exceptions.

Q: What are the technology requirements for accessing and completing the application?

Q: Will they email me after receiving the application? 

Yes. Our system is based on auto-sending send email for confirmation after submission of your application. If you do not receive it, then check your spam folder.

Q: Can I edit my application after it’s been submitted?

No, it is impossible. So, you should analyze the application before proposing the application.

Q: Are recommendation letters required?

No. 

Program Details and Expectations

Q: Does the program grant or provide additional advantages? 

While the Fellowship is fully funded for Fellow Candidates, we don’t provide any funding or additional benefits as part of the program. Some countries give grants according to the requirements of the selection conference.  They will notify candidates after selection.

Q: Which costs does the program cover? 

The fellowship program rejects all expenses after your selection.

Once you are selected as an Acumen Fellow participant, the fellowship holds all program-related incidentals during the Fellowship. This includes all costs associated with the candidates, including housing and food. Repayments are available for travel to candidates if the participants wish to be privileged.

Q: What is the attendance policy? What should I do to avoid the seminar?

The program has a 100% attendance requirement, and all selected Fellow Candidates must attend all program sessions, unit calls, and one-on-one sessions nd complete assignments or face possible removal from the program. We can also develop an allowance for disasters on a case-by-case basis.

Q: What’s the meaning of an in-person immersive?

Immersive includes typically hold for 5 days. This immersion consists of attractive discussion, individual image, training, and the usual development of relationships.

Candidates have 8 hours of prework, which should be accomplished 2 weeks prior, in order to create and make the most knowledgeable experience candidates.

 Candidates are expected to present full-time during the session and make sure there is no opposing commitment during that period. Candidates are also expected to stay at the same location, same country, same area where the immersive is being held.d


What is meant by a Learning Lab?

A Learning Lab is a 4-hour-long online-supported learning session. That will build upon the self-made assignments (average 1 hour/week) and will give you a chance to delve deeper into the content chunk with your cohort.

Q: What are the Moral Leadership Principles?

You will be established in the 12 values of Moral Management, developed from more than 20 years of working with front-runners who are educating how the deprived, the susceptible, and the earth are conserved.

Q: Is internet connectivity a requirement to participate in the program? 

Yes. Fellows must have regular and reliable internet access that allows the downloading and uploading of documents as well as audio and video files.

Q: What is the location of program seminars and meetings? 

The immersive events are typically held in or around major cities across the program region. In the past, they have been held in:

  • East Africa Program: Nairobi, Kampala, Kigali, and Dar es Salaam
  • India Program: Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Mysore
  • Pakistan Fellowship: Karachi, Murree, Peshawar, Bahawalpur,
  • Lahore, Islamabad.
  • West Africa Program: Accra and Lagos

Individuals will be notified on the actual dates, and candidates upon being selected as a Fellow.

Beyond the Fellowship

Q: What post-Fellowship support is made available? 

You are called into the community once you complete the fellowship. Each member develops opportunities to further increase learning skills to help enhance the influence. Opportunities may consist of training and exceptional skills. You have to get access to the Foundry Dashboard, where a list of opportunities is present.

Q: Does this fellowship provide grant funding?

No. This fellowship is independent andsuitablee for the industry is suitable for our Angels Program.
