E-Medhabruti Scholarship 2025

E-Medhabruti, an excellent scholarship program  is run by the government of Odisha. The Orissa government offers scholarships to students under the E-Medhabruti Scholarship Scheme 2025. The scholarship is on a merit-basis and each student receives financial assistance up to 20,000 INR annually as a part of this scholarship program. It is Launched by the Government of Odisha and the Higher Education Department to support students from weak backgrounds to pursue their education.

The e-Medhabruti Scholarship 2025 is a commendable effort to support the academic excellence in students from  underprivileged backgrounds. It is a merit based scholarship targeting permanent residents of Odisha with an annual family income not more than₹600,000 annually. The students from  undergraduate, postgraduate, and technical/professional courses can apply for this program. Depending on the category, beneficiaries can receive up to ₹20,000 for the entire duration of their course. This initiative  empowers students to focus on their studies and achieve their educational goals.

e-Medhabruti Eligibility

Undergraduate Merit:

B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com., as well as BBA, BCA, BJMC, and others courses are involved.

Postgraduate courses in the arts, commerce, science, and other non-professional fields, are available. A previous  degree in the arts, sciences, or commerce is required for admission to these courses.

Technical and Professional Merit: This covers courses for professional degrees at the undergraduate level as well as integrated courses listed in the guidelines. Regulatory bodies such as AICTE, MCI, DCI, CCIM, CCH, INC, UGC, and others recognise degrees such as B.E., B.Tech, MBBS, BDS, BCA, BHMS, BAMS, B.Pharm, B.Sc. (Nursing), B.Sc. (Agriculture), and others.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Odisha permanent resident

•  Annual family income should not be more than ₹600,000.

•  Must have obtained minimum 60% marks in the last examination.

•  Applications will be accepted only in the first year of their courses.

• The selected candidate will get up to 30,000.

 E-Medhabruti Scholarship 2025 Renewal

Students benefit from the e-Medhabruti Scholarship 2025, which provides funding for their further education. After a student receives the scholarship, it is automatically renewed year until the end of the course. It means that students don’t need to reapply every year for the renewal of the scholarship. They must continue in the same course and pass their examinations in order to continue receiving the scholarship.

• Students must be residents of India.
• Must have 60% marks in the previous qualification.
• The annual income should not be more than 6 lakhs
• The candidate should not have lower grades.

How to apply for e-Medhabruti scholarship?

•  Go to the Odisha State Scholarship Portal.

• Register yourself by clicking on “Registration”.

• Read it carefully, tick on the checkbox, and click “I Agree”.

• Enter your details like ID Number, Mobile Number, Name, Gender, Date of Birth, and Email ID.
•  Click “Register”.
• Your login ID and password will be sent on registered phone number.
• Return to the portal and click on “Login”.
• Enter the receive ID and password
•  Apply for scholarship
• Click on eligibility to check your eligibility
• Select “e-Medhabruti” from the dropdown menu.
• Fill all required documents
• Click “Submit”.

Selection procedure of e-Medhabruti Scholarship

• Applicants are ranked on the basis of  marks in the  previous qualifying examination. For instance, a student with 92% will have more chances than a 70 % student.
• If the  multiple students have the same marks, preference is given to the applicant with the lower family income.
• The applicant’s academic records and enrollment status must be authenticated.
• After validation, the final list of selected candidates is published on the Odisha State Scholarship Portal.

Which Students are  not eligible for E-Medhabruti.org Scholarship?

• Students pursuing technical or professional diploma-level courses are not eligible for the E-Medhabruti Scholarship.
• Under E-Medhabruti, students pursuing a Mphil, Ph.D., BEd, or MEd are not eligible for undergraduate, graduate, or technical and professional merit scholarships.
• Students with lowers grades or percentage are not eligible
• Students who get any other scholarship are not eligible to apply
• Students with higher parental income are not eligible.
