What is Maharashtra CM Fellowship

The Government of Maharashtra created the excellent Maharashtra Chief Minister Fellowship Program in 2015 with the goal of engaging young professionals in the governance and development processes of the state. Only Selected candidates for this 12-month fellowship program will get a chance to work directly with senior government officials 

Motive of CM Fellowship

The main goal of the CM Fellowship Program is to give a chance to young people to explore different areas of work and learning. As part of the program the selected applicants will get the opportunity to take a course in public policy at IIT Bombay. Selection Process

First Stage

Part 1: Online Test

All applicants must take an online test that covers subjects like general knowledge, reasoning, English, Marathi, IT, and math.

Part 2: Shortlisting Based on Scores

Based on the test results only top 210 candidates with the highest scores will be shortlisted.

Second Stage

Part 1: Essay Submission

The shortlisted candidates will be asked to upload three essays on given topics.

Part 2: Personal Interview

Only those who upload their essays will be called for a personal interview, where they’ will be assessed on their ideas, communication, and interest in public service.

Part 3: Final Selection

  Final list of shortlisted candidates should be published on the official website.
