E-Medhabruti, an excellent scholarship program, is run by the government of Odisha. The Orissa government offers scholarships to students under the E-Medhabruti Scholarship Scheme 2025. Undergraduate Merit:

B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com., as well as BBA, BCA, BJMC, and other courses are involved.

Postgraduate courses in the arts, commerce, science, and other non-professional fields are available. A previous degree in the arts, sciences, or commerce is required for admission to these courses.

Technical and Professional Merit: This covers courses for professional degrees at the undergraduate level as well as integrated courses listed in the guidelines. Regulatory bodies such as AICTE, MCI, DCI, CCIM, CCH, INC, UGC, and others recognise degrees such as B.E., B.Tech, MBBS, BDS, BCA, BHMS, BAMS, B.Pharm, B.Sc. (Nursing), B.Sc. (Agriculture), and others.

  • Odisha permanent resident
  •  Annual family income should not be more than ₹600,000.
  •  Must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in the last examination.
  •  Applications will be accepted only in the first year of their courses.
  • The selected candidate will get up to 30,000.
 E-Medhabruti Scholarship 2025 Renewal

Students benefit from the e-Medhabruti Scholarship 2025, which provides funding for their further education. After a student receives the scholarship, it is automatically renewed year until the end of the course. It means that students don’t need to reapply every year for the renewal of the scholarship. They must continue in the same course and pass their examinations to continue receiving the scholarship.

Selection procedure of e-Medhabruti Scholarship

  • Applicants are ranked on the basis of marks in the previous qualifying examination. For instance, a student with 92% will have more chances than a 70 % student.
  • If multiple students have the same marks, preference is given to the applicant with the lower family income.
  • The applicant’s academic records and enrollment status must be authenticated.
  • After validation, the final list of selected candidates is published on the Odisha State Scholarship Portal.

Which Students are not eligible for E-Medhabruti.org Scholarship?

  • Students pursuing technical or professional diploma-level courses are not eligible for the E-Medhabruti Scholarship.
  • Under E-Medhabruti, students pursuing a MPhil, Ph.D., BEd, or MEd are not eligible for undergraduate, graduate, or technical and professional merit scholarships.
  • Students with lower grades or percentages are not eligible
  • Students who receive any other scholarship are not eligible to apply
  • Students with higher parental income are not eligible.
