Our Rising Solar Fellowship Application is open now!
For rising solar fellowship program, GRID Alternatives and Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE) collaborating with each other to provide an enthusiastic solar professionals from various backgrounds the chance to continue renewable career energy. The purpose of this is to begin recognizing as a woman or demoted gender counselling for careers in connection and develop along with university and college graduate students who are learning renewable energy and relevant fields.

Important point
Conference registration process, travel expenses, housing payment all are covered through WRISE sincerely. Further expenditures regarding the program are eligible for compensation. If you have issues in any of these then this will not disturb your eligibility. Please inform us and we will help you to find a resolution. During the time period of the fellowship which is 2 months, candidates will be likely to attend the RE+ conference personally, along with online meetings earlier and after the conference.

Eligibility Criteria
- Individuals 18 or older can apply for the Solar Power Fellowship, classifying as a woman or marginalized gender. The students who are registered as a student in college or graduate from university or have technical certificate programs.
- During the fellowship, I must be present in the US.
- Candidates can participate in any renewable energy area such as educational, industrial, technical, accessing, engineering, business, and others.
- If applicants are mostly interested in the solar industry, then they will continue their renewable energy career in the US.
- Modern GRID Substitute Solar companies’ candidates are not capable of joining this fellowship.

Essay Question
Choose an essay from the given below topics and write an essay which consists of 750-1750 words. Essay should be thoughtful, perceptive, and establish your ability to think analytically, and define yourself proficiently.
Option 1
Companies are continuously looking for advanced solutions to report present challenges in the renewable energy zone, especially the solar energy sector. Could you discuss any specific issue which is related to solar energy which shows your interest as you identify a career in solar energy.
Option 2
Solar energy presents enormous potential to enhance positive alterations and solve the environmental and society issues. Imitating your ambitions and values. If you take part in solar energy then you can highlight the influence you want to achieve in society and community. How do you imagine benefits of your skills, knowledge, and compassion to provide a more successful future and authorize others to hold renewable energy solutions?
